This dress is made according to Pattern Magic book instructions (page 67). After making a top according to these instructions, making a pattern for a dress was easy. It’s made from linen (2.5m is was enough), finished with cotton bias tape. It fits well and feels very comfortable. I just have to work on the side seams, which are not straight but pull to the front.

Very nice dress! This pattern is so lovely! I have been playing with the idea of making this dress for the longest. Maybe one day:) I cant see the pulling on the side seam, maybe you just have to steam the hem line on the back to shrink it a little bit. If it stretched, it could cause the side seam go towards the front. It happens a lot with linen, very tricky fabric:)
