I made this dramatic jacket from McCall 5478 with some modifications. The fabric is a leopard print matte duchesse satin, lined in a silvery teal rayon. It closes with two self-fabric buttons. It has 3/4 length sleeves, a back pleated vent with an underlay, and a large portrait collar. To see more pictures and learn more about this jacket (and why I’m planning to get rid of it!), check out this post on my blog.

Oh, no, don’t get rid of it! It’s absolutely gorgeous, and suits you oh-so-well. Keep it! Now I’ll read why you think you don’t need it. I hope you manage to convince me ;-) Ok. I’ve read, and you’ve convinced me. I think the reciecver will be most pleased too.
