This is the first of three mini-tutorials on making Sidonie la Chanel, my variation on the free BurdaStyle Sidonie pattern. The result will be a skirt with alternating contrasting panels, as seen on the picture below. This tutorial is beginner-friendly, but you must already know how to download and print the Sidonie pattern. Of course, you can use this method to alter the look of other garment patterns too.
