me-made-March day 8!

I reworked a dress pattern to make a top, reducing the depth of the cowl a bit. Turns our I took it in too much, but it’s wearable. A good exercise in construction…more on my blog:

    Well done – cowl looks fabulous. I’ve never tried a Lekala, but I did download one…I heard they’re pretty good for fit!

    Nice top! These types of tops are always flattering, versatile and comfortable. Not to mention, pretty easy to sew (with a slightly greater level of understanding and sewing intuition, as you clearly have). So many fabric options to make it in as well. Love it. -Stephanie

    I think it looks great, with cowl necks I usually hang an old earring from the bottom of the facing part so the weight of it keeps the drape nicely in place.
