Description

Never mind my scary eyes in this picture. I constructed this by myself just a few weeks ago, since I love the army trend. The blue fabric is 100% thin wool that I got from my aunt, the black details are from the spills of a velvet coat my mom made twenty years ago and that I shortened. The buttons are the only thing that’s not second hand.

You can see more of this dress in my blog:

Material Notes

100% wool, velvet, and golden metal buttons.

It’s just great! And just claim you’re giving “Rasputin eyes” to add to the Russian flavour of the photo!

The dress is super chic and you wear it wonderfully. You should get this out as a pattern.

Thank you so much! I really think it looks more complicated than it is, it’s the velvet ribbons and the fold that does it, I believe.
