Description

These are the costumes I created for Halloween this year. It’s Dr. Mrs. the Monarch (Dr. Girlfriend) and Molotov Cocktease from the Venture Bros.! This is the second project I’ve sewn with a machine. I sewed boot covers, gloves, and added trim and wings to a unitard (DMTM costume). I also created a necklace using buckram and a crown out of a cup and the same yellow stretchy fabric for the gloves and boots.

The support system for the chest (DMTM costume) was created using a mannequin. Read these blogs to find out more about it :D

Molotov’s costume was done by adding trim to a unitard. Again, I made the gloves and bootcovers for this costume. I sewed bra cups inside the costume to help support her assets ;)

Material Notes

I used spandex for the boot covers, gloves, crown, necklace, and red and yellow trim (from spandex house in NYC).

    THAT. IS.AAAAMMMMAAAZZZING!!!! I WANT ONE!!!! Will have to check out your blogs. I do quite a lot of things for a dance school, so seeing what you do with the boot covers willl be really interesting.
