A mock up and the final result of a simple 3/4 sleeve shirt. I like both. I tried to do some interesting detailing on the neckline; the muslin has pintucks, the fashion fabric version some pleated bias tape. Both feature a button closure on the back. Also I added pockets to the 2nd version.
I used a self drafted block pattern.

Thank you. The drapey bit actually was an accident. I didn’t intend it but there’s somewhere an error in the pattern, combined with the looser weave of the cotton it turned into this. I just decided to go with it.
