Description

The first dress that I designed completely on my own. I think I had been sewing about a month and you can tell. I am still working on it. Originally it had a ribbon trimmed front bodice panel, but I decided it didn’t lay right, so removed it. It has 2 self fabric skirts; The lower skirt showing below the upper skirt. The belt is a wide ribbon. I had originally planned on a deep red or white trim, but things happen…

I think this is the cutest dress, none of us would have known you were only one month into your sewing journey. Stylish “LBD”!

Thanks. It is an easy design. And I couldn’t find any wider ribbon! Not many notions choices around here.

I made a very sorry pattern from measurements. It was my first, so I forgive myself ; ) Thanks though. It is such a deep black it was hard to get anything to show up.
