I made this double-breasted coat from a thick, fir-green (I wasn’t able to catch the colour in the photos, it’s a really rich, dark, warm shade of green) woolen loden which made the lapel collar a bit difficult to sew. I love the buttons and the linging (to which I added a little pocket for hankies, I always forget and lose those!)
fir green, woolen loden cloth, striped taffeta, fake-leather buttons, a wooden button for the inside

It’s No. 115 from Burda magazine 11/2007, I just made it shorter and left out the zippers on the pockets and sleeves :)
