Wow this is so lovely. I’m on the hunt for some inspiration at the moment, and I just found your items. They’re very chic, and very sweet.

I might be imagining it, but I think you have spaced the buttons more widely than on the pattern version?
It looks so much better! I’ve always liked this pattern (without doing anything about making it!), but have always felt that the double row of buttons were too close together, it kind of made the shirt look cross-eyed, or a face with the eyes too close together (crazy, I know). On your version, the wider horizontal spacing makes the whole shirt look more balanced. …and such lovely fabric.
I may have to get over my inertia, and make one myself!

Thank you so very much!
I might have spaced them a little more widely, I don’t know ;) I also think that it goes with proportions – I’ve noticed that in ‘finished projects’: the width between the rows of buttons is always the same, so the bigger size of the blouse, the more crowded they look.
Or maybe it’s just three instead of four buttons in a row what makes it look lighter :)
