Silk chiffon, black with off white spots. I have made this pattern before with a Liberty Tana Lawn, and really wanted to do it again with something with more drape. I dug this silk out of my fabric box, and it was perfect! Same adjustments as before. Pattern is no. 138 from Burda 08/2011. Seams are all french, I double turned the hem and used a very light polyester fusible interfacing. This top has recieved many more compliments from my girls than the previous one! The drape of the silk really suits the style of the top.

How did I miss this? That’ll teach me for taking my eye off the ball! Gorgeous top. Love the style and your choice of fabric. Clearly much nicer than the one in the mag otherwise I’d have earmarked it earlier!

I love this one and the other version you made ! Will dig out the august issue and have a look, can’t remember it from the magazine (probably didn’t look as good as yours). Have a similar satin material, brown with cream dots, which might look nice in this pattern. Thanks for posting and nice to see you wearing some of your wonderful creations :-)
