There was a 40% discount on all McCall’spatterns so I thought I would buy M5845 for office wear.
It was so simple & whipped it up in a weekend, I would recommend making this if you fancy a quick & satisfying make.
The vertical darts are design features and lie on the outside of the dress, with the sleeves hanging just over the shoulder.
Fully lined with with a milk chocolate – I like contrasting my linings.

You saw the McCall sale too! That was a great sale. I love the back on this. It’s so well done and the pleats in the front make a simple shift really, really beautiful. _

It’s gorgeous, and so Joan Holloway! Your waist really look tiny in that dress! I love the fabric also. All in all: Great work for just ‘whipping something up’!
