Description
A Marfy free pattern for a blouse to show off shoulders. This blouse has turned out well, but time consuming to sew slippery fabric. I expect that comes with practice.
French seams and seam binding give a good finish.
The elasticated lower border is optional and just for styling.
Material Notes
Polyester
Difficulty
Intermediate

I consider such tops are ones of the best – they are very feminine and flattering; and look well both with pants and a pencil skirt. The fabric you chose makes it easy to combine with other clothes.

Your top looks great. I have downloaded all three free Marfy patterns, but haven’t made them up yet. Your blouse inspires me to get sewing!

Cute Top! A tip that I’ve learnt with slippery facrics – hairspray! spray a test piece, let it dry and then wash as you would normally wash that garment. If it’s ok, then spray your fabric with hairspray – it stiffens it up a little and it’s not so slippy, making it easier not only when sewing but also cutting out.
