BACK PRINCESS SEAMS
Position the side and back pieces together, right sides facing. Pin princess seams (seam 3), stitch. Trim allowances, neaten and press inside the side back piece. (a)

RIGHT SHOULDER SEAM
Position the front and back piece together, stitch right shoulder seam (seam number 4), the yoke seam lines meet. Trim allowances, neaten and press apart.

INNER YOKE / FACING
Position the front and back yoke together, right sides facing. Stitch the right shoulder seam as a mirror image to the top piece (seam number 4). Trim allowances and press apart. Neaten edges.

Position the facing onto the neckline, right sides facing. The right shoulder seams meet. Neckline edges meet. Trim allowances, snip in and cut in the corner of the center back piece (arrow) (b)

Turn the facing inside. Pin the neckline edge. Pin the inner facing edge and the yoke edge together. From the outside, stitch along the seam line, enclosing the facing. ©
