Burda Pattern 101 2/2011 issue size 36. Made from cotton with a lining underneath. I struggled with a couple of the directions but this is an easy dress to make. It came out a bit low for my liking but I’ll make it again and alter it so I’m more comfortable with the coverage.
My Polish boyfriend calls me Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz when I try on this dress. So I named the dress Dorota in his honor. I feel like quite the lady with the dress on.2 yards cotton. 2 yards of rayon for lining. 16 inch invisible zipper.

Well, I got this from the magazine and I think that you can type it in the search box as Burda Pattern #101 from the February 2011 issue. Hopefully that will come up.

Lol… Dorota. Thank god my husband didn’t thought of it. He is Polish.

Very nice dress, great color! Thank you for posting this. I want to use the same pattern for my dress, also with polka dots – only in black, with red belt. Looking at your photos makes easier for me to imagine the result. And congrats on polish boyfriend – have one of them myself :)))

You’re welcome. Thanks for the compliment. I think it would look great in black with polka dots. Have a great day!

The polka dot print is adorable! The construction of the dress looks very neat, too.
