My daughter was in a wedding and couldn’t find shoes to go with her turquoise dress. She had an old pair of black shoes. I spray painted them silver and I just happened to have some bling in my stash the same color as her dress. She was a hit at the wedding! I love upcycling shoes, can you tell?

OH MY GODDESS!!!!! These are AMAZING!!! What a way to use old dance costumes! I’ve got heaps of bits and bobs from my work. Now a new idea to use them up. Thankyou for an amazing idea.

Wow! Thanks for all the inspiration you give us in recycling shoes. I am now definitely thinking about refashioning some old Valentino’s I have, ’cause the leather is not so nice any more.

Thanks for the great comments! Olac I used hot glue to attach the bling. I bought some HUGE sequined appliques when a local dance sewing warehouse closed. I cut it apart to use on the shoes.

Gorgeous! How did you attach the bling? Any kinda specific glue?
