I got married in Jamaica in March 2010. Here’s my wedding dress. I wanted it to have a vintage look but still be lighthearted and fun. Absolutely love how it turned out.
We planned to jump in the ocean and pool in our wedding clothes so I actually made two identical dresses. Inside on the lining, I embroidered a heart and our initials.
The ivory material is a home decor fabric from Joann that came pre-pinched in these beautiful gathers. I used pattern McCall’s 5001 but shortened it quite a bit. Get details and see more pics at my blog.
