Description

I used Vogue Vintage pattern V8728 to make this dress. It’s a design from 1946, and has a belt and side zip. The pattern was so much easier to make than I imagined, and the dress is really comfortable. The only modification I made was to shorten the bodice by 1.5 inches.

Material Notes

I used Liberty Tana Lawn “Dominika” from the AW2010 season.

I acutally purchased this same pattern last summer, but haven’t tried it yet. You’ve inspired me! I love the way it looks in that print you chose. Nice job.
