This dress was made to look similar to my Irish Dancing school’s costume, so that the little girls could match their dolls.
The designs were cut out of Thermoflex (http://beacongraphics.com/heat_transfer/thermoflex-2.html) on a vinyl plotter and ironed on.
The dress is full lined, just like the real costumes are, and include a matching headband.
I made the pattern myself, and simplified the knotwork design of this costume: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3005/2746050423_1e3b6fbcb1.jpg

Too cute! I should start lining everything in soft, shiny satin. That dress looks so comfortable!

Simply adorable, and really cute for the girls and dolls to match!
