Description

This is my slimmed down version of the Pencil Dress. I found the instructions SO hard to follow and wasn’t impressed that there wasn’t a seam allowance or good instructions since I had to pay for this pattern. But luckily I have experience with sewing so could guess my way through!

Material Notes

Heavy, stretch, dogtooth cotton

Difficulty

Intermediate

Lovely! Did you use lining or just facings? Or both?

Just the facings recommended on the pattern

Also: I hear you, Burda instructions are never any good. I only take up Burda patterns that I know I can figure out on my own.

Very elegant dress. american patterns have seemallowance, european patterns don’t. Not very handy it wasn’t told in the intructions. It is good you have experience with sewing. It turned out great!
