Hi Georgina. Sorry I’ve only seen your post now as I have been real busy. I made this using reasonably thick polyester wadding. You can get thicker wadding to make it more suitable for this floor. My dog pulls it out of his bed all the time so it is on the floor a lot anyway! I used a walking foot to quilt this and it was dead easy. Good luck with it. Gráinne.

I absolutely love this!!! I think my little dog Bruce will need one perhaps I might make it in such a way that I can put his dog bed inside. Is it thick enough to place on the floor for comfort?
