This dress is based loosely off of the Cap sleeve gathered waist dress. I added a back cut out and altered the neckline to tighten the neck gape. Overall I really liked this pattern. The bodice darts aren’t my favorite and since i’m not big busted I don’t think the bodice fits as nicely as it could, not because it’s too loose but on account of the dart placement and type.
I will definitely be wearing this a lot this summer, it’s very comfortable and I think it would suit many body types.
I used a Vintage cotton from a thrift store and cheap muslin for the lining.
