My daughter is now 2 years old (not that she’s potty trained already or anything) but i have weaned myself off of carrying a diaper bag around with me. But i still had 1 yard of IKEA fabric left over. So i decided to sew it up into a boho bag (or is it hobo?- can anyone explain the difference please?) I used an Amy Butler pattern that has been lying around in my sewing room. I omitted the cellphone pocket as i wanted the outside of the bag to be clean and didn’t want to interrupt the gorgeous fabric print. There is a reason for that particular bag though – the bag has lots of internal pockets (which is great!) but i keep loosing my cellphone in them. Anyways, i love it. No doubt.

Great bag and lovely fabric! I have some of it to but still hesitant of using it as I am a very novice sewer and I don´t want to spoil it!

Hi Sewneenee, here is the link to the AB pattern. Hope it helps. It’s a quick easy sew: http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=16

Cool fabric! And you can never have too many big bags, particularly when you have a toddler.

so colorful! i love the fabric and it looks plenty roomy enough to carry everything needed for a two year old. not that I would know, I’m just guessing :)
