Description

I did it! After hours and hours and hours. It was not easy at all. But, on the end, I found out that it is really important to read instructions, not to try with assumption or personal interpretation. So, my pain started as I was not “able” to read carefuly and I missed very important instruction: to transfer pattern to the right side of the fabric, not wrong… everything else you could just imagine :)
Skirt was easy, but the top… that one was a big time challenge

Material Notes

two way strech jersey

First of all – I love that pattern. Every time I’m at the fabric store I am always looking at it. I should just buy it and make it for a friend. Sometimes it’s nice to not make your own pattern and just follow someone else’s. Great job!

Thank you. And once, years from now, I might be able to create my own pattern :).
And really, congratulation for your work… I love it

hey, VA! Congratulations! I am glad you pulled it together. I remember you mentioned the challange when I posted my versions a few month ago :-) This was, by far, the most obscure assembly I ever done. until the last seam, the top simply does not come together…. In a retrospect, I should have cut even smaller patters – I chose size 8 patter for my size 12-14 normal pattern size. Even then, the top is a little looze and it has to be tight to sit right… Again, I am very happy for you – it looks amazing…

Thank you, and your advice to use dummy was the one helping me a lot. Mine project could be a one or two sizes smaller, but still… I am happy with it. I am already thinking about giving it a second chance in black..
