Description

I used a vintage Donna Karen New York pattern to make this skirt – I love retro fashions and I love tulip skirts – so this one ticked all the boxes!! Pics don’t really show the pleats – will try taking some with a proper camera instead of my mobile!

Material Notes

Wool, cotton lined…. tho if I make another I would use a lighter fabric as once I had all the pleats in my machine struggled to force its way through that many thick layers!! Used up a few needles that day!

I agree with previous comments: the skirt is gorgeous! And it looks great in the fabric you chose so it was worth the needles! I also really like the way you styled it. Really nice!

Clearly the skirt is gorgeous AND it seems made for you and your body type. This is the kind of outfit you should have in every colour!
