Description

Well, continuing with my love for all things bright, I went vintage with this gorgeous YELLOW cape. This lemon yellow wool from Mood’s Fabric was perfect for a cape to drape over my shoulders. Pattern used was Burda Pattern, 7113. The cape was lined with the same fuchsia silk fabric used for my silk magenta dress from Thai Silks. Even in the S/S season, you need a little somethin’ somethin’ on your shoulders (that cold corner desk in the office or movie date) so think about a cape next time you reach for a cardigan or blazer.

You really rock that look! I’m a very novice novice, would you say this is too difficult for someone at my level? I’ve made a couple of circle skirts and a couple of shift dresses.
