New York, New Yo...
In honor of some of our beginner sewers, here is a simple sewing project you can easily tackle in little time. There were a lot of sequins + sparkles on the runways this past September, as many designers gave a nod to the glamorous gowns and accessories from the 1930s— so we have too. Sequin arm warmers are a simple way to incorporate this decadent look into your everyday wardrobe— but if sequins are not your fort, do not fear, you can virtually use any knit fabric to make some of your own personalized arm warmers with a twist! Or of course you could knit some, but if you’re eager to sew, try these.
Men and women alike can don arm warmers and they work well with a cape, keeping your exposed limbs warm and sparkly. Try a steampunked look and cover them with rivets or studs, or go for a Belle Epoch look and use a soft stretch lace and have them come up over the elbows.
Be sure to check out the Instructions tab for the pattern diagram!
