South Perth, Aus...
I was very lucky to receive this as a free pattern from Savage Coco. If you would like to make it too, you can download a size Medium from ‘The Heroine’s Closet’ for only 99c. Just be sure to write a review once you’ve made it.
This is a gorgeous dress which is easy to wear, but has a real ‘wow’ factor. The neckline and armholes are made as one piece with a brilliant technique that ensures a neat finish. This makes it easy to use different fabrics for the neckline and main dress. The back opening can be chest level or extend to the waistline if you dare! The dress can be long, medium or even short as a top or tunic.
The dress would suit someone with some sewing experience, but is not really difficult. A detailed tutorial is provided by the pattern maker with pictures, which is very helpful. I love this dress and it was fun to make.

Black stretch woven fabric for the neckline (this does not need to be stretchy), medium weight chiffon and sheer black fabric for the dress and hem band.
