i love this pattern! i’ve made several of these dresses, some with the cute cap sleeve and other variations. the cut is fabulous! it took me several dresses to get it all just so, this one turned out great. i made it from a vintage linen i found, which i dyed this pretty cocoa color.
i’m definitely going to keep making this dress.
cotton is best, i’ve used crepe back satin, which was …. slippery! and frayed soooo much.

yes! i’ve done both versions of the sleeves. i love the puffy cap sleeve. my only complaint with the sleeve is in the instructions! when installing the facing, it gets confusing. maybe it’s just me. let me know when you do it, i’m curious:)
