lovely mix of colors… what I’m curious about the dirndle is, is the shirt attached to the main dress? just trying to figure out how to go about making one… i always first try to figure out the pattern by looking at a finished work and I can’t seem to figure this one out….

Lovely use of linen! I’ve included this as an “Example creation” in my fabrics international wiki article on linen!

PERFECT. I love it. I think I will make this for my aunt, as we go to many renaissance and victorian festivals together.

I love your dirndl! I think the trim you placed on the blouse is a nice touch. I, too, have this pattern in my projects to do pile. I will probably wait until Feb. or March to sew it up for Spring as it is too cold to wear on the Northeast part of the US.

The dress is beautiful much better than expected. You have done a fantastic sewing job on the outfit and I love all the colours and use of the patten on the apron. Well done – Beautiful :)

Love your Dirndl – it looks just like the ones we see over here in Bavaria!
