I made the wrap “f” from the Japanese pattern book Unique Clothes Any WayYou Like by Natsuno Hiraiwa, using a thick creamy coloured knit stuff. I then dip-dyed it in a mixture of iDye Poly in Blue, and half a jar of Moccona instant coffee. I’m very happy with the subtle smudge colour I got from this mix, as well as the ombre effect of the dip-dyeing technique.

This is an amazing look, and your added creative dying topped it wonderfully. I will be checking out other projects you have made, your style appears minimal and yet very sophisticated. I would wear this to an art gallery opening.

Thankyou! Yep, it is a great book. This is the fifth thing I’ve made out of it…. has your partner made any other of the designs?

She made the shrug-n- page 64 out of linen which looks so nice. I made a version as a single piece- two layers out of knit jersey. The spiral scarf
cI put up as a project a while ago.
