I combined the Diana Bag pattern with SavvySeam’s Tudor Rose Bag You can get the Saavy Seams pattern here I absolutely love it !! The original Tudor Rose pattern has the roses on both sides of the bag. I took a shortcut by only using one rose (placed on the front of the Diana bag). I love the end result.
Note: Due to the addition of the Tudor Rose my bag is not reversible like the Diana pattern says.
Hey look at all these instructions it took me FOREVER to write
here
I used a rather thick cream colored wove fabric for the Diana portions of the bag and the leaves of the rose, and a nappy-textured, wheat colored upholstery weight fabric for the petals of the rose. Batting, interfacing. Magnetic snap or Zipper (optional)
