This is another one of my corsets made for a costume shop. I based it on one of the outfits worn by the character of Satine (Nicole Kidman) in the film “Moulin Rouge”. It’’s not an exact copy – too hard by far -but I wanted to get the gist of it. I’ve made it as I have the three others posted on Burda style – by taking a pre-made corset and “applique-ing” fabric and decoration on top. Here I’ve used a silver sparkle stretch velour for the bodice and a black seqined fabric for the “lapels”. Silver strung beads loop across the body and a trim of silver sequins follows the boning. I’ve made a little bustle to match of black and white feather.
