This gorgeous fabric is what I had left, after making a version of the “One Dress” for my sister-in-law (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/the-one-dress-convertible-dress).
So I had this very colourful printed jersey, enough for a skirt.
I wanted a pattern simple enough (because too many details would disappear in the print), but still interesting.
I ended with the #112 skirt from the 6/2010 magazine.
I made several modifications: omitted the bottom band, lengthened the skirt by 15cm, removed all the pockets, and since it’s jersey – waved the zipper and used elastic on the waist instead.
I’m very happy with the result: easy breezy summer skirt. A great pattern that I’ll definitely use again.
~0.6 m printed jersey. Elastic for the waist.
