2 Desira’s I recently completed. The 1st was a test run with some cheap tan slubbed cotton I found at a thrift shop, but I liked the outcome (except the tab sleeves…I’m not such a fan of those). I added sleeves to my 2nd Desira. For this one, the yellow rayon fabric is from an old skirt I’ve had since high school. It was one of those odd pieces of clothing that you just can’t bring yourself to get rid of no matter how outdated it is. So, I decided to use the fabric for this top. The blue fabric is a simple blue cotton with yellow batik dots.
tan slubbed cotton for the 1st top, yellow rayon from an old skirt and thin blue cotton for the 2nd.

Very nice on both! And I like how you salvaged your skirt for the second top—great way to keep it around.
I like the sleeves you did on the blue/yellow one better too.
