Description

This year, I am taking part in the Vintage Sewing Pattern Pledge for the third time. It is a fun challenge aimed at motivating yourself and others to sew from vintage patterns.
This dress was made using a pattern in a magazine from 1929. It was originally a wedding dress but with a shortened skirt, it can easily pass for a normal dress (there were big real differences in shape between wedding dresses and other dresses back then). I did make some changes to the pattern because the muslin was very baggy but I am quite pleased with the end result.
