This is an easy, quick project. Perfect for the beginner. I had this denim just lying around and decided to make a few of these. The red yoke, though you can’t tell from the photo, is Christmas material. When I can find the right applique, I’m going to applique embroider a Christmas tree on the other two that I did without the contrast yoke with that same red. I wish I had a model to take a picture in the dress. If I can get my honorary niece, I’ll put her in it and upload the picture. I don’t recommend the heavy, stiff denim (which is what this is made from). The dress is very stiff, has no give/movement. Maybe it will be better after it’s laundered.
Denim, cotton quilting material, broadcloth for lining, thread, heavy duty snaps
