Based on Mccall’s 5525. I did one row of buttons rather than two (for some reason the shoulder flap is on the wrong side in the pattern; it should go over the opening rather than opposite, to keep out the rain!). The undercollar and collar stand stitching technique is one I borrowed from Al’s Attire in SF—works similar to padstitching to help the collar roll properly. I love denim; it gives rugged elegance to whatever you make from it.
