Description

I HAD TO sew something, anything to unwind and wanted instant gratification. So I made yet another pair of shorts. This has to be the quickest sewing project. I reckon it took me no more than 2 hours in total, which includes time for drafting my pattern. This is a very simple pair of shorts. No pleats, just darts to shape the waist. Since the fabric is quite stiff, I used the regular zig-zag stitch to finish the raw edges. I made my own bias tape using fabric from my stash and finish the hem and the waist with it. It has an invisible zip at the side. It turned out still a little loose so I added belt loops using the remaining bias tape.

Turned out really well….. I know what you mean with the whole winding down thing. It’s nice to have a quick simple project sometimes.
