Denim Shorts

The Burda WOF pattern, 6/2008 #103. For the original pattern look at the Unfortunately, I cut them one size smaller, so they are rather tight. But, my friend’s gonna be the lucky owner of them :). I made small alteration on the back, by adding trapeze panels. Also, instead of zippers on the pockets, I practiced my skills by making welt pockets. The side stiches aren’t French, I simply topstiched the seams with the orange thread.

Material Notes

Thin denim

These look so much better than the ones in the mag! I LOVE them in denim. I’m gonna try this pattern now. Your welt pockets are great, and really work well with it. Plus, I love the orange stitching.
