Description

This pouch was originally a pocket attached to the salopette that I made into a bag. I ripped out the stitches, cut out the back and inserted red lining. I got the idea from an article in “Burda Easy lente/zomer 2011” It showed cool things you can do with leftover jeans such as making a skirt into a bag (made me feel gleeful) and a back pocket made into a pouch. Since I already got the bag I made the small pouch. The article pouch was closed with a zipper and had a stringy strap to carry it around. My pouch already had the buttons and I didn’t fancy making a strap.

Material Notes

left over jeans pocket, red lining and thread.

This is very cute and clever. i have a few pair of jeans that I don’t wear anymore and i have been saving them to upcycle. I have been waiting for the fight project to come along and i think this is one of them.
