This was a birthday present for a little girl. I drew the pattern myself and took a couple of test runs. I cut up an old pair of jeans and with the corduroy the entire thing only cost $4. I got my hubby to draw the face (it helps having an artist in the house) and I emboidered it with raised satin stitch using an embroidery hoop befrore I cut it out. I even filled the legs and arms with rice so they hang nicely. Put it in the microwave and you have a nice warm cuddly friend to take to bed on a cold winters night.
i haven’t made a stuffed toy before so i was quite pleased with how it turned out.

Great stuff (pun intended with your micro warming tip!) What a cutie and I adore the facial features…super teamwork there! Not a hint at all that it is a first attempt.
