For this denim skirt I modified the pattern of my girlish skirt into a plain short skirt. Although I liked the fit of the outcome I still thought it looked too boring, so that’s were the bordure came in. I’m still not sure if the combination is good, though. What do you think?

I think it looks really good. That lacy bordure? never heard of it. but anyway, it’s a really good color combination with the skirt, because it’s not matchy. Great job!
