Thanks very much for the simple instructions you link to from here. I made two cushions in an afternoon for my son and it was only my second project. Your instructions were simple and easy to follow, even for a novice like me!

I like the embroidered flower – is it hand worked ? I have done Japanese folded patchwork using lightweight denim and those large neckerchiefs ( usually red/white or blue/white ) and made cushions – this is a nice easy idea.

Yes the flower is hand embroidered :)

I’ve been meaning to look into folded patchwork more. I have a couple of books with mostly floral designs.
