Another costume from our movie “A Midsummernight’s Dream”: Demetrius’ Coat. In the first picture, you can see the sleeve detail quite nicely.
The pattern actually was a jacket from Burda magazine 02/08, No. 109. I made it into a coat by simply lengthening it.
Hmm… me and this coat had a very… “changeful” relationship. When I cut open the button holes, I destroyed the entire right upper part, because I slipped with my button hole cutter (is that even a word?). I was close to throwing the whole thing away, but in the end I managed to repair it and I think it’s not even visible :-)
