Description

this handsewn necklace was inspired by this modcloth dress:

who wants to be a frillionaire

but i would also wear it with this one: tasteful in turmeric

however, i don’t get to wear it with either… because it’s for my secret santa at work! she happens to love purple, which i have in abundance. i love how the frills of the silver grey dress play with the texture of this.

the chain does not extend through the purple pops— actually, it connects at each end. it can be worn tight around the neck as well, like a choker. i used bits and bobs of my vintage jewelery stash to finish and embellish— these pieces are sewn in as well.

      oh it’s so easy, i hope you do! if you haven’t already figured it out, i just took strips of lace, made a running stitch across one long edge & pulled it tight to make the flower. then stitched beads wherever.
