This dress is a very slightly altered wedding dress – I only left away the two bottom layers from the skirt… And of course, I used color! The pattern is available for download. It is actually almost the same pattern as the recently featured open-back dress, except for the layering with lace… It was surprisingly easy to make! A few more pictures are at my blog Of Dreams and Seams
I added a little line of beads along the neckline, since you won’t be able to wear a necklace with this dress, and I thought it needed a little special something right there… Of course, the front may be pretty, but the real oh-la-la moment happens when you turn around ;-)
