Hi, this dress features a round neckline with princess seams in the back and front. I used one of my patterns for the top and drafted a slightly gathered bottom for the skirt using a rectangular block. The front is lower than the back giving it an high-low look.
I used a beautiful semi-sheer lace which is very delicate to work with and I used interlock as the lining. The sleeves are from Feb 2009 issue of the magazine #119 which are gathered sleeves. A zipper is at the side.
It is my first time working with this type of lace as it is a little stretchy and I really like how it came out nicely :-)
I wore it out and I feel extremely stylish and chic. Happy Me
