This is a coat dress I created for my senior collection. It was inspired mainly by Dutch Delftware pottery, as well as by the Rococo period of Fashion and Galant style of music in the 18th century.

Wow! Your work inspires me to keep on sewing! I would love to make and wear a garment like that. Approximately how long does it take? I made a coat recently and it took about 48+ hours altogether. Is that typical?

Stunning – I love the way you have combined historical themes to make something that looks so wearable… and the details on it are wonderful!

I love it! The colour is amazing and I adore the inspiration too, I am about to make an early 18th dress for my major work this year! Yikes.
So beautiful, well done.

Gorgeous! Exquisite details! The topstitching (or is it rick-rac? It kinda looks like it but it’s hard to make out the details) really stands out, and I love the wide, turned-up cuffs. Classy, historic, yet modern.
