Deer and Doe’s Airelle blouse is the perfect blouse for layering underneath sweaters! I love the gathers on the front yoke and the roomy sleeves. I made two versions, one out of polyester and one out of rayon crepe. The rayon crepe is my favorite – this pattern is perfect for all those flowy drapey fabrics you’ve been saving. It came together nicely, and I’m just in love with how the collar pokes out when worn with a sweater. Instructions were succint, but it is a pattern aimed at intermediate sewers. I recommend having already sewn a facing, darts, and collar before attempting this pattern.
